How to Build Lean Muscle Fast

If you’re here then you are most probably very skinny and want to build lean muscle as fast as you can. Eat a Proper Diet

I can’t stress enough on the diet, some people say it’s over-rated but guess what? Those are usually the guys who aren’t the biggest in the industry. Jay Cutler, Arnold and every other big star body builder follow a proper diet and that is their secret. I know what most of you are thinking right now, that they built their bodies with steroids and that’s true but dieting is the best way you’re going to get anywhere close to packing on muscle.

When I say dieting, I don’t mean eating protein foods all day… You want to balance your diet with the correct amount of protein, carbs and also healthy fats. If you’re a skinny guy then you want to eat more than you calorie consumption, this will allow you to put on more weight and build that into muscle. For those of you who are over-weight, you need to eat at least 20% less than your body’s maintenance caloric needs.

Use Heavy Weights

Build Lean MuscleThe problem with a lot of the amateurs who don’t see results is that they don’t use the correct weights when doing their workouts. When you’re goal is to build lean muscle then you should be focusing on using heavy weights and doing exercises in the 7-8 rep range. So how do you choose the right weights? Well simple, you have to test them out. The perfect weight is when you are struggling to do the last 2 reps. You want to start feeling the burn around the 5th rep and then the 7th and 8th rep is where your muscle is really tearing to its full potential. This will allow you to build lean muscle and you’ll feel a difference within the week because of how much more difficult the task becomes.

Get Enough Rest

This is crucial to your success; you need to sleep sufficient amounts daily in order to see any improvement. When you’re in the gym working out then your body is actually tearing the muscle tissue, then your body seeks the nutrients to repair that muscle tissue in order to get bigger. Now the actual healing process happens when you sleep! That’s right; a lot of the healing is done in the night when you’re in a resting state. So you should be aiming for at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night on average.

So these are some of the most important ways to build lean muscle fast, if you’re already doing this then keep at it because it won’t fail you ever. And for those who are not eating right, using heavy weights or getting enough sleep, well you shouldn’t be complaining about not building muscle because you’re doing it wrong from the beginning.
