The principles in Eat Stop Eat are extremely solid and backed up by science. It’s another question whether it holds up in practice. For most of us fasting for 24 hours is a daunting ordeal. For this review I decided to actually fast 2 times a week for 3 weeks. The first time I did the fast was very hard for me. I’m used to eating every couple of hours and not eating made me feel horrible. However, the second time it was a slight bit better and it improved with every session. By the third week I actually felt improved energy while fasting and I had better control over myself. I was enjoying the fasting and I was getting leaner and fitter. While the fasting sounds extremely daunting I highly suggest you at least give it a try.
