The fitness industry has many products that claim to be a magic pill which would allow readers to lose weight without lifting a single finger.  This is very false and a damaging belief.  Turbulence Training does not make this mistake.  The program’s marketing makes it very clear that you have to put in work and follow the program exactly as said if you want to see drastic positive changes in your body.

Turbulence training was created by Craig Ballantyne, who is a contributing author for Men’s Fitness magazine.  It’s very clear he’s a fitness expert as he is an author at one of the biggest fitness magazines out there.  Craig has also contributed material to Men’s Health, Maximum Fitness, and many other magazines.  As if those credentials are not impressive enough, he also holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology.  He is one of the most respected fitness experts in the industry.

What are the Principles of Turbulence Training?

Quick 45 Minute Workouts 3 Times a Week

This program focuses on 45 minute workouts that you do 3 times a week.  These workouts are very intense and serve the purpose of helping you lose fat.  These workouts will ensure you lose weight even while resting because they increase your body’s metabolism massively.  These workouts do not involve any cardio but instead focus on weight and interval training only.  There’s no cardio simply because steady state cardio does not bring about the same results as intense weight and interval training.  Unlike cardio these workouts are extremely tiring in a short period of time.  Do not expect to do this program and think that you’ll lose weight without working hard.

A Focus on Form

Turbulence Training has a massive focus on proper form.  Craig claims that if you do the exercises with perfect form you’ll be much better off.  He says proper form in fact improves the efficiency of the exercises by 300 percent.  There are detailed diagrams of every exercise which is a major positive for this program.  Most programs do not focus on form at all so this is very refreshing.  Additionally Turbulence Training advocates varying your exercises to keep your body guessing.  This allows you to gain muscle in a much faster manner as your body doesn’t have time to adapt.

Nutrition and Diet

Nutrition and your diet are extremely important if you want to lose weight or build muscle.  No matter how great your exercise routine is, if your diet isn’t up to par you will not get great results.  Turbulence Training actually focuses very heavily on this aspect of fitness.  There are no crazy diet plans or overly complicated “secret foods”.  Craig just goes over why it’s important to eat healthy with food like vegetables, protein, nuts, and such instead of eating junk food.  What you eat is also determined by whether you want to gain or lose weight.  If you want to lose weight you need to eat less, while if you want to gain weight, focus on eating a ton of protein and calories.  No matter what your goal, it’s important to avoid junk food like fries, chips, and anything with fructose.

A Few Words on the Turbulence Training Scam

There have been rumours that this program is not effective.  Some claim that this is just an Internet Marketing product with no actual basis in real science.  However, their claims are very easily proven false.   First off, the author Craig Ballantyne is a well-known expert in the fitness industry.  The fact that he writes for major magazines and also holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology proves that he knows what he is talking about.  It’s pretty clear that many of the haters are in fact owners of competing products.  Turbulence Training is a very legitimate product.

My Personal Turbulence Training Review

Looking at the principles of this program, it’s very easy to see that it’s a solid program.  First of all the diet and nutrition program is focused on the fundamentals of eating healthy in proper proportions.  Unlike other diet programs it’s not focused on fads or gimmicks that bring about short results but fail in the long term.  Those programs fail in the long term because it’s based on starving your body and you can’t do this for the rest of your life.  It’s better to eat healthy in a manner that is sustainable over the rest of your life.

My view of the exercise program is that it’s perfect for anyone who wants to get fit and is willing to work hard for it.  The exercise program is intense and hard but it works very effectively.  It’s focused on intense training that builds muscle.  If you are trying to lose weight, building muscle is very important as it improves your metabolism and helps burn fat.  If you are trying to gain weight and bulk up these exercises will help make you a lot bigger faster.

What Does this Product Include?

The product includes the 76 page eBook with detailed diagrams and all the information you need.  There’s also a 1 hour audio mp3 where the author gives a detailed explanation of the program and his own philosophy on fitness.  There’s a bonus 4 week long Body-weight exercise routine which is great for those of us that don’t have access to a gym.  He also includes nutritional guidelines for both men and women.

Needless to say, Turbulence Training is packed with massive value.  I would easily have paid 100 dollars for it.  Luckily, it’s priced at a very low price of $39.95.  For a program that has helped my friend and I out so much, I’d say that’s more than a fair price. The only disadvantage to this program would be that it doesn’t include video but that’s only a minor gripe.  I’d say it’s a 4.5 out of 5 stars program.
